Power BI connection ====================== Field reference: :doc:`../providers/powerbi_provider`. A single ``http`` connection type (Airflow's built-in HTTP type, not a dedicated Power BI type), conventionally named ``powerbi_default``. Authenticates as a service principal that needs to be created and allow-listed for Power BI API access first. See :doc:`powerbi-fabric-service-principal` if you don't already have one set up. The steps below assume you do, and just cover creating the Airflow connection itself. Steps ------ 1. In the Airflow UI, open **Admin → Connections**, then click **+** to add a new connection. .. Set **Connection Id** to ``powerbi_default`` (or whatever your DAGs pass as the operator's connection ID) and **Connection Type** to ``HTTP``. .. Fill in **Login** (Azure AD app registration client ID), **Password** (client secret), and **Extra** with ``{"tenant_id": ""}``, then click **Save**. ..
