Mailer connection =================== Field reference: :doc:`../providers/mailer_provider`. The mailer provider has three connection types. ``mailer_graph`` (Microsoft Graph Email) needs **no manual setup** — on the platform's managed Airflow deployments, this connection is provisioned automatically as part of the deployment itself. If your DAGs send mail via Microsoft Graph, it's already there under its default connection id; nothing to create. The other two types are for cases the managed default doesn't cover (sending through a different mailbox, an unmanaged/self-hosted instance, or plain SMTP) and do need to be created manually, the same way as any other connection: Steps ------ 1. In the Airflow UI, open **Admin → Connections**, then click **+** to add a new connection. .. TODO: screenshot of the empty Connections list with the "+" button highlighted 2. Set **Connection Id** to the value your DAGs will pass as ``mailer_conn_id``, and **Connection Type** to one of: - ``SMTP OAuth Email`` (``mailer_smtp_oauth``) - ``SMTP`` (Airflow's built-in type, for plain SMTP) .. TODO: screenshot of the Connection Type dropdown showing these types 3. Fill in the fields for your chosen type and click **Save**. ..
